Seven Months at MMSI

Today marks the end of a really meaningful 6-month journey as a Marketing and Content Associate at Manhattan Media Services.
I got so much real, hands-on experience. Not just theory, but practical know-how you can only pick up by being in the room.
I learned how strategy connects to business goals, watching plans get shaped around real objectives instead of just theory in a textbook. I saw how content decisions actually get made: the back-and-forth, the reasoning behind every choice, and how much thought goes into things that look simple from the outside.
Over time, I started to build real instincts of my own, the kind that only come from doing the work again and again until it starts to feel natural.
Just as valuable were the smaller lessons that I didn't expect to learn but ended up carrying with me the most.
I learned how to communicate more clearly, even when my ideas were still half-formed. I learned how to take feedback well, not as criticism, but as one of the fastest ways to grow. And I learned how much it matters to genuinely care about the quality of what you put out, because that care shows in the final product.
Looking back, what stands out most is how much growth happened in such a short amount of time. Seven months ago, I was still figuring out what marketing was really like; now I feel like I have a real foundation to build on.
To everyone at Manhattan Media Services who made these seven months special — thank you. I'm leaving with new skills, more confidence, and a clearer sense of what's next.
